SEB — name change to SEB, brand platform, visual identity

Tomas led the team that developed SEB's brand strategy and visual identity — with the iconic bright green color — following the Trygg-Hansa acquisition in 1998. He also managed the brand strategy project for the proposed SEB-Swedbank merger, which was discontinued in 2001. Later, in 2005, Tomas oversaw the rebranding of the three Baltic banks acquired by SEB in the early 2000s.

SEB is a leading Nordic financial services group, providing banking, investment, and advisory solutions with a strong focus on corporate clients and long-term relationships.

Tomas collaborated with the group’s brand and marketing department for seven years to modernize the brand expression.

During this time, the company rebranded from Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken to SEB. The transformation included the development of the vibrant green visual identity and the creation of the now-iconic logo, designed by Hans Brindfors.
